Telluride provides a variety of activities in both summer and winter. Instead of just skiing in the winter, try ice skating at our brand new covered ice rink, The Telluride Pavilion located in town park. Try nordic skiing or snowmobiling. Maybe it’s a moonlit snowshoe.
The natural elements of Telluride also provide a diverse summer activity list. With endless trails to jeep and hike the adventure never ends. Guided fly fishing, climbing and hunting are also popular. Regional drives to ride the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, the Hot Springs of Ouray and the Anasazi Cave dwellings near Cortez offer a nice change of pace. However, sometimes the favorite activity of Telluride during the summer is watching the world go by. The “Telluride Mantra” is: I came for the skiing, but I stayed here because of the summer. Come see why!
